Pair of personal bests highlight Springs Valley's win over Paoli, Brownstown Central, Eastern (Pekin)

The Springs Valley girls' golf team continued its hot streak on Tuesday, picking up a trio of wins as it hosted Paoli, Brownstown Central, and Eastern (Pekin). The Blackhawks' team score of 202, their lowest to this point in the season, ruled the day as Brownstown Central finished with a 211, Paoli was third at 240 and Eastern (Pekin) couldn't post a team score. Mia Cruz led the way for the Blackhawks, one stroke off the medalist's score at 45. Macy Hall also broke 50, finished at 49. Karmen Hall and Logan Watts each played the best rounds of their respective careers, the former shooting a 52 and the latter a 67. Dallas Hendrix finished at 56 and Maggie Dennis rounded out the evening for the Blackhawks with a 71. Springs Valley will compete again on Saturday, traveling to Jasper for an invitational.
