Springs Valley Community High School

Just days before the official open of football season around the state, an alteration has been made to the Springs Valley football team's schedule. Earlier this week, Springs Valley was informed that Union Dugger, its anticipated week five opponent, would not be making the trip to French Lick this season. In the Bulldogs' place on the schedule will be the Salem Lions. The Lions compete at the Class 3A level and are members of the Mid-Southern Conference. The Blackhawks will host Salem on Sep. 16.
