Springs Valley Community High School

The Springs Valley volleyball team hosted Christian Academy on Thursday, defeating the Warriors 25-13, 25-13, 25-10. Tori McCormick was the model of efficiency in the Blackhawks' home opener, recording five kills on seven attempts. The senior also had a trio of blocks. Molly Tucker was excellent as well, serving up a career-high four aces while missing just two of her 13 serve attempts. She also had a team-high nine digs. Springs Valley (3-1) will try to extend its winning streak to four matches on Saturday when it competes at Wood Memorial.
