Volleyball Blackhawks sweep Wood Memorial on the road

The Springs Valley volleyball team traveled to Wood Memorial on Saturday, sweeping the Trojans 29-27, 25-17, 25-22. Leigh Carnes led the way for the Blackhawks, picking up 19 kills on 39 attempts as well as 20 assists and 14 digs. She also had one ace as she went a perfect 15/15 from the service line. Springs Valley (4-1) will compete next at Crawford County on Tuesday.
