Springs Valley Community High School

The Springs Valley volleyball team got off on the right foot in Patoka Lake Athletic Conference play on Tuesday, traveling to Crawford County and defeating the Wolfpack 25-22, 25-16, 25-16. Bella Nottger was a force at the net for the Blackhawks in the win, recording 12 kills on 26 attempts. She also had three blocks and nine digs. Springs Valley (5-1, 1-0 PLAC) continued its years-long winning streak in PLAC games with the victory, extending it to 49 wins. They Blackhawks have also won five straight matches since their season-opening loss to Providence. They'll try to keep it going on Wednesday when they host Bloomfield.
