Blackhawks sweep Southridge at The Nest

The Springs Valley volleyball team hosted Southridge on Thursday, sweeping the Raiders 25-8, 25-14, 25-13. Tori McCormick was the model of efficiency in attack for the Blackhawks. The senior middle took eight swings against Southridge and finished with seven kills. She also had a block. Springs Valley (12-1, 2-0 PLAC) has now won 12 matches in a row and hasn't lost a set since Aug. 12, winning its last 27 sets consecutively. The Blackhawks will return to action on Saturday, traveling to Rock Creek Academy.
