The Springs Valley volleyball team cruised to another victory on Wednesday, hosting South Central (Elizabeth) and sweeping the Rebels 25-8, 25-10, 25-9. Maddie Carnes was the Blackhawks' top performer, recording 10 kills on 13 attempts without any errors for an otherworldly .769 hitting percentage. The sophomore also had 12 assists, three digs, and seven aces on 13/13 serving. Springs Valley (15-1, 2-0 PLAC) has now reached 15 matches with its winning streak. The Blackhawks will get the rest of the week off, then return to action on Monday against Orange County rival Orleans.
