The Springs Valley volleyball team's winning streak came to an end on Monday. After 19 consecutive wins — the program's longest winning streak in more than a decade — the Blackhawks fell to Tecumseh 25-15, 25-21, 25-18. Maddie Carnes was the best of the bunch for the Blackhawks in the loss. She had eight kills, 12 assists, 17 digs, an ace, and a block. Springs Valley (19-2, 4-0 PLAC) will try to start a new winning streak on Saturday when they compete in the Class A Showdown at Blue River Valley.
