Edwards runs rampant as Springs Valley blows out Washington Catholic

It was a career night for Deion Edwards as the Springs Valley boys' basketball team traveled to Washington Catholic on Saturday night, winning 87-23. The junior scored early and often, racking up a whopping 47 points on 21-of-31 shooting with only one 3-pointer all night. He also had 15 rebounds, five assists, and a steal. The Blackhawks led 28-1 after one quarter, then 52-13 at halftime. After the break they outscored Washington Catholic 35-10. 10 different Blackhawks got into the scorebook including Edwards. Jaheim Hamilton had nine points, three rebounds and fourt steals. Mavrick Land had five points, two rebounds, and two steals. Christian Hamilton had five points, four rebounds, and two steals. Landon Weeks had five points, two rebounds, and two steals. James Walls had five points and three asissts. Blake Buchanan had four points and four rebounds. Larron Childers had three points and six steals. Keyton Jones had two points and two rebounds. Evan Brown had two points, five rebounds, and two assists. Landon Farris had three rebounds, an assist, and two steals. Springs Valley (1-2, 0-2 PLAC) claimed its first victory of the season against the Cardinals. The Blackhawks will be back in action on Friday when they host Barr-Reeve.
