Blackhawk boys get back on top against Lanesville

The Springs Valley boys' basketball team traveled to Lanesville on Saturday night, taking down the Eagles 76-51. The Blackhawks led 30-23 at the half, but a strong second half gave them the easy win. Deion Edwards broke 20 points for the third time this season, finishing with 22. He also had six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. James Walls had a huge night as well, going for a career-high 18 points. He also had a rebound and a steal. Jaheim Hamilton nearly had a double-double, finishing with 10 points and eight rebounds as well as three steals and a block. Evan Brown had nine points, seven rebounds, and a steal. Larron Childers had six points and three rebounds. Keyton Jones had six points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Christian Hamilton had three points, two rebounds, and two assists. Mavrick Land had two points, two assists, and a steal. Easton Burton had a steal. Springs Valley (2-3, 0-2 PLAC) has now won two of its last three games. The Blackhawks will play next on Friday when they host conference foe Perry Central.
