Blackhawk boys bounce back against South Spencer

The Springs Valley boys’ basketball team battled South Spencer on Wednesday, with the Blackhawks winning 84-74. Springs Valley had 58 points in the paint compared to South Spencer’s 36. The ‘Hawks also had 39 rebounds compared to the Rebel’s 20 rebounds which helped secure the win. Konner Chase led the way for the Blackhawks scoring an impressive 20 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Deion Edwards followed closely behind scoring 19 points with nine rebounds too. James Walls helped the team by scoring a career-high 14 points in just 17 minutes. Rounding things out for the ‘Hawks, Keyton Jones had 10 points and seven rebounds, Jaheim Hamilton had nine points and two rebounds, Mavrick Land had six points and six rebounds, Evan Brown had two points and three rebounds, Larron Childers had two points and three rebounds, and finally Christian Hamilton scored two points. The Blackhawks will be back in action on Dec. 28 at the Henryville Tourney.
