Blackhawks run away with a W at Washington Catholic

On Monday the Springs Valley girls’ basketball team traveled to Washington to go head to head with Washington Catholic. The 'Hawks won 71-11. The Blackhawks were able to attack at the rim with 46 points in the paint. Maddie Carnes had an outstanding game with 15 points and seven rebounds. Gracie Breedlove ended with 11 points and three rebounds. Breedlove also had two assists. Leigh Carnes had 10 points with nine rebounds. Maci Eckerty and Gracie Allstott both ended the game with seven points. Eckerty also had eight assists, which shows that she was really looking for her teammates. Jordyn Land had six points and five rebounds, all on the defensive side of the floor. Tori McCormick ended with five points and three rebounds. Kyan Green and Kinsey Campbell ended with four points each. Green also had one rebound and one assist. Campbell had four rebounds and four assists. Josie Robison ended with two points and five offensive rebounds. Springs Valley (18-3, 5-1 PLAC) will host Christian Academy on Thursday, Jan. 18.
