Springs Valley Community High School

The Springs Valley boys’ basketball team battled Tell City on Saturday, winning 71-49. The Blackhawks started slow, only leading by one point at the end of the first quarter. The ‘Hawks’ 44 rebounds and 50 points in the paint helped them take the lead and win by 22 points. Deion Edwards led the way with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Konner Chase helped with 12 points and four steals. Jaheim Hamilton had eight points, eight rebounds, and three steals. Rounding things out for the ‘Hawks, Keyton Jones had seven points and three rebounds, Larron Childers had seven points, one rebound, and one steal, Landon Weeks had two rebounds and a steal, James Walls had eight points and three rebounds, Evan Brown had two points and three rebounds, Mavrick Land had two rebounds and a steal, and Landon Farris had two points. Springs Valley (11-6, PLAC 3-2) will host the Borden Braves next Saturday.
