Springs Valley track and field travels to Edgewood

On Saturday the Springs Valley track team traveled to Borden to compete in the Mustang Invitational. For the boys, Christian Hamilton finished fifth in the 100 meter dash. In the 200 meter dash Isaiah Ervin placed sixth with Hamilton placing seventh. Ervin placed fifth in the 400 meter dash with Anakin Keyamo placing thirteenth. Alan Marshall finished fourth in the 800 meter run with Andre Ayres placing thirteenth. Marshall placed third in the 1600 meter run with Grant Brown coming in fourth. Carson Brown placed second in the 3200 meter run with Grant Brown placing fifth. James Walls finished fifth in the 110 meter hurdles. Graham Nottger finished sixth in the 300 meter hurdles. The Blackhawks finished seventh in the 4x400 meter relay and placed third in the 4x800 meter relay. Walls finished ninth in the high jump with Hamilton finishing fourth in the long jump. Larron Childers placed second in the discus with Teagun Rominger finishing in fourteenth. For shot put Childers placed third with Rominger finishing in tenth. In the girls 400 meter dash Loran Rayls finished fourteenth. In the 800 meter run Jadyn Lynch finished fifteenth. In the 1600 meter run Sophie Harris finished tenth. Harris also finished in twelfth place in the 3200 meter run with Keira Lynch finishing fourteenth. In the 300 meter hurdles Maci Mayhew finished ninth. For the high jump Tori McCormick finished in fifth place. For long jump Miya Campbell finished in fifth place. In the discus Aubrey Bledsoe finished in twelfth with Jordyn Land finishing sixteenth. Land also finished twelfth in the shot put with Bledsoe finishing fifteenth. The Springs Valley track team will compete in the North Harrison invitational next Friday.
