Springs Valley Community High School

The Springs Valley cross country team traveled to North Harrison on Thursday to compete in the North Harrison Invitational. The boys' team finished sixth out of the 19 teams in attendance and the girls finished eighth. Carson Brown finished fifth to lead the boys. Andre Ayres had his best performance of the season to place 20th. Henry Dybsetter posted a new personal record and finished right behind him in 21st, Harry Dybsetter finished 36th, and Matthew Woolsey finished 58th. The Blackhawks also got a new personal record from Jaydon Novak in the open race. Sophie Harris put together her finest performance of the season to pace the girls, finishing 26th. Belle Roberts followed her in 36th, Jadyn Lynch finished 48th, Keira Lynch placed 57th, and Loran Rayls rounded things out in 68th. The Blackhawks will run again on Tuesday, competing at Southridge in the Tri-County Invitational.
