Valley volleyball crushes Rock Creek Academy in weekend clash

The Springs Valley volleyball team hosted Rock Creek Academy on Saturday, sweeping the Lions 25-4, 25-9, 25-14. The Blackhawks hit excellently in the match, recording a team hitting percentage of .402. Kinsey Saliba led the way, racking up 17 kills on 25 attempts. Mia Crews had a strong performance as well, posting seven kills on 16 attempts. She also had four aces. Maddie Carnes had six kills on six attempts to go along with 17 assists. Adleigh Galloway stepped in mid-game for the Blackhawks and performed well, finishing with 11 assists, four kills, and an ace. Emmy Saliba had a strong game as well, tallying 10 digs, four aces, and two kills. Maci Eckerty led the 'Hawks in the back row with 16 digs. Springs Valley (11-1, 2-0 PLAC) has now won nine matches in a row. The Blackhawks will try to continue that streak on Tuesday when they travel to Barr-Reeve.
