Blackhawk volleyball sweeps South Central for bounceback win

The Springs Valley volleyball team traveled to South Central (Elizabeth) on Wednesday, coming away with a 25-9, 25-22, 25-10 victory. Mia Crews was superb for the Blackhawks in attack. The freshman led the team with 14 kills on 22 attempts with just one hitting error. She also had eight digs and an ace. The Saliba sisters helped her carry the load; Kinsey and Emmy each recorded seven kills. Kyan Green recorded 23 assists, three kills, and two aces. Maddie Knieriem made her varsity debut with three kills. Haylin Cave returned from injury to record two digs and two serve-receive passes. Springs Valley (12-2, 2-0 PLAC) will return to action next Monday, traveling to Orleans to take on the Bulldogs.
