Blackhawk volleyball ousts Northeast Dubois in straight sets

The Springs Valley volleyball team traveled to Northeast Dubois on Tuesday night, taking a 25-21, 25-18, 25-18 victory. Kinsey Saliba and Maddie Carnes ran the show once again for the Blackhawks. The former led the team with 14 kills while the latter had eight kills of her own to go along with a team-high three aces, 17 digs, and 26 assists. Maci Eckerty continued her excellent run as the team's libero with 14 digs and 28 serve-receive passes. The junior also had an ace. Emmy Saliba had eight kills, three aces, and eight digs. Kyan Green had six digs, two aces, and a kill. Springs Valley (14-2, 3-0 PLAC) has now won three matches in a row. The Blackhawks will try to make that four on Thursday when they host conference foe Mitchell.
