Springs Valley Community High School

Springs Valley's long girls' golfer — Dallas Hendrix — competed in the Patoka Lake Athletic Conference meet on Tuesday at the Valley Links. The junior, the event's defending champion, ultimately finished tied for second with a strong score of 49 to earn a place on the all-conference team. Hendrix will try to reclaim the crown next year, but first she'll head to Bedford on Thursday for a match with Bedford North Lawrence and Brownstown Central. That will serve as a tune-up for her trip to the Bedford North Lawrence Sectional on Saturday.
