Blackhawk girls' basketball falls at Forest Park

The Springs Valley girls' basketball team traveled to Forest Park on Thursday, losing 35-30. Maddie Carnes and Maci Eckerty led the Blackhawks offensively, posting 11 points each. Carnes also had three rebounds, a block, and a steal. Eckerty had four assists, two rebounds, a steal, and a deflection. Gracie Breedlove had a strong performance as well, going for six points on three-of-four shooting from the field. The sophomore also had six rebounds and a steal. Kadee McGuire had one point. Jordyn Land had four rebounds, one point, and was the only Blackhawk without a foul. Kynleigh Dalton had three rebounds, a steal, and an assist. Springs Valley (1-1) will try to bounce back from the loss on Tuesday when they host North Daviess.
