Blackhawk boys win second straight, beat Lanesville at home

The Springs Valley boys' basketball team hosted Lanesville on Saturday, winning 64-49. Kayce Jones had a strong performance, leading all scorers with 17 points. Impressively he did so by hitting seven of his 10 shots. The senior also had a game-high seven rebounds and tallied three assists as well. The Blackhawks had three other double-digit scorers in the game as Landon Weeks finished with 12 points, Christian Hamilton had 10 points, and Keyton Jones had 10 points. Weeks also had six rebounds and Jones had a team-high four assists. Evan Brown had seven points and five rebounds, Blake Buchanan had two points, Zach Lindsay had two points, and Easton Burton had two points. Springs Valley (2-2, 0-2 PLAC) has now won back-to-back games after opening the season with a pair of losses. The Blackhawks will try to get above .500 for the first time this season on Friday when they travel to Perry Central.
