Springs Valley Community High School

The Springs Valley boys' basketball team traveled to Henryville for the McKee Munk Invitational on Friday, finishing third in the four-team field with a win and a loss in the event. The Blackhawks opened their day with a 67-40 loss to Indianapolis Riverside. They followed that up with a 53-51 victory over Henryville to close the day. Springs Valley (3-5, 0-3 PLAC) broke a three-game losing streak with the victory over the Hornets. The Blackhawks will resume play on Jan. 3 when they travel to South Spencer.
