Springs Valley Community High School

The Springs Valley boys' basketball team traveled to Barr-Reeve, losing 57-45. The Vikings held a 13-9 lead after one quarter and at the half they led 29-24. The Blackhawks cut their deficit to 38-37 at the end of the third quarter, but got outscored 19-8 in the fourth. Keyton Jones led the game with 28 points, hitting four 3-pointers. Christian Hamilton had eight points and Evan Brown has six points. Brown, Kayce Jones, and Kevin Carnes tied for the team lead in rebounds with four apiece. Landon Weeks had two steals, an assist, and a rebound. Springs Valley (3-7, 0-3 PLAC) will play next on Jan. 17 when they host West Washington.
