Springs Valley Community High School

The Springs Valley girls' basketball team competed in the opening round of the Northeast Dubois Sectional on Tuesday, downing Cannelton 62-23. Springs Valley (12-9, 3-3 PLAC) advanced to the semifinals with the victory. The Blackhawks will take on Tecumseh in the semifinal round on Friday. The other semifinal will be between Evansville Christian and the host Jeeps, who defeated Wood Memorial on Tuesday.
