Albright's 36 leads Springs Valley past conference foes at The Ross

The Springs Valley boys’ golf team kept it rolling on Thursday as it hosted Paoli, Orleans, and West Washington at The Donald Ross Course. The Blackhawks blew their competition out of the water with a team score of 153, 31 strokes lower than their closest competition. Blake Albright led the way for the Blackhawks, finishing with a score of 36 to earn medalist honors. Owen Weisensteiner had a superb round, finishing right behind Albright with a score of 37. Jake Hammond carded a 39, Van Leininger played one of his best rounds of the season and finished with a 41, and Ryker Allen rounded out the scoring at 43. Jack Dalton recorded a 47, Landen Noble put up a 49, Max Pendley had a 52, Kash Smoot’s score was 54, and Ian Mayhugh finished with a 69. Springs Valley (34-14) will return to play on Tuesday, hosting sectional foe Jasper.
